In Core Behavior Training, I prioritize a strong foundation!

The Core Behaviors Course is a 5-week group class that covers fundamental behaviors crucial for every well-mannered dog. 

This course is designed to help you build a strong foundation of obedience and communication with your dog, setting the stage for a lifetime of good behavior and mutual respect.

Over the span of 5 weeks, I will guide you through a structured curriculum focusing on essential commands and manners. 

Each session is designed to not only teach respect and manners, but also to strengthen the bond between you and your dog, ensuring that your pet is well-prepared to handle everyday situations with confidence and ease.

• Sit: Establishing the basic 'sit' command to promote calmness and control.
• Down: Teaching your dog to relax and remain in place with the 'down' command.
• Stay + SIT + DOWN: Reinforcing patience and obedience by combining the stay command with sit and down.
• Come + Automatic SIT: Building a reliable recall, ensuring your dog comes when called and sits upon arrival.
• Cruise Control: Developing loose leash walking skills, making walks more enjoyable for both you and your dog.
• Name Game: Enhancing your dog's attention and responsiveness to their name, ensuring better focus.
• Take It & Leave It: Teaching impulse control with objects, instructing your dog when to take and when to leave things alone.
• Wait: Instilling patience in various situations, teaching your dog to pause and wait for your command.
• Go Say Hi: Promoting polite and controlled greetings with other people and dogs.

• Duration: 5 weeks
• Sessions per Week: 1 session per week (5 sessions total)
• Session Length: Each session lasts 60 minutes.
• You will have homework assignments! Yes, it will be due before the next class. (Video Submission)

• Dogs must be at least 4 months old.
• All dogs must be up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. No records, No class, NO EXCEPTIONS
• No prior training experience is required.
