Hello! I'm Jessica, and I am the owner and Lead Dog Advisor, at Coastal Canine Training Academy, and I will personally handle all training sessions. I am highly experienced and certified in various dog training methodologies.

• Core: Focuses on essential behaviors such as Sit, Down, Wait, Stay, Leave It, "Thank You," Take It, Off, and "Cruise Control" (loose leash walking). This course is perfect for establishing a solid obedience foundation for your dog.
• Growth: This course builds on the Core Behaviors by introducing intermediate skills and more complex behaviors. It helps your dog develop better impulse control and responsiveness in diverse environments.
• Mastery: Designed for dogs that have completed the Growth Course, this program focuses on advanced skills and fine-tuning behaviors, preparing your dog for real-world challenges and public interactions.

I take a balanced approach, considering factors like your dog’s breed, age, temperament, learning curve and your goals and learning curves. I conduct a thorough assessment before starting any training to tailor a program specifically for your dog's needs. 

Absolutely! 

I have experience working with dogs of all ages. While training older dogs may require more time and patience, it is entirely possible to teach them new behaviors and improve their obedience. 

Once you enroll in an In-Home Program, I will reach out to schedule your sessions for a time that works best for all parties involved. I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. 

Group Classes are set times and days.

In-Home Programs -

Yes, sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Please contact me directly to make arrangements. 

Group Classes - 

If you miss a class, no worries! I will get you caught up after the next class. 

CCTA accepts Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Venmo or Zelle.

We can also accommodate payment plans for the In-Home Program. 

Group Courses are Paid in Full only

 We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible while maintaining the integrity of our programs. 

Below is our refund policy for the In-Home Training Program:

Cancellation Before Training Begins

• If a client cancels at least 7 days before the first scheduled session, they are eligible for a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the first session are eligible for a 50% refund due to scheduling commitments and preparation time.

• After the first session: Clients may request a partial refund if they choose not to continue, with a deduction for the first session and an additional $50 administrative fee.
• After the second session: No refunds will be issued, as program space and scheduling have been reserved for the client.

• Clients may reschedule up to 24 hours before a session with no penalty.
• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited and will count as a completed session.

• In the rare event that Coastal Canine Training Academy must cancel a session, we will reschedule at no additional cost or provide a pro-rated refund if rescheduling is not possible.

• In cases of serious illness, injury, or unforeseen emergencies, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of Coastal Canine Training Academy.

• Refunds will not be issued due to a lack of participation, unwillingness to follow training recommendations, or dissatisfaction with a dog’s progress. Training success requires consistency and commitment from the owner.
